RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Quality Coordinator to work in the Quality Resource Services Department, at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.
Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus is a fully accredited acute care hospital dedicated to providing the finest medical and health care services to the residents of Ocean and Monmouth counties. An affiliate of the RWJBarnabas Health system, Monmouth South is a sister hospital to Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.
Monmouth South is the only hospital in the region to provide private rooms on all of its inpatient units, providing an environment more conducive to healing. Several other enhancements have been made to provide superior service to Lakewood and the surrounding region as well, including the Better Health Senior Membership Program, state-of-the-art Geriatrics Institute, and an expansion of cancer services.

Qualifications:
Required:
+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in a health related field required
+ Three to five years healthcare experience required
+ Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, management, and technology skills
+ Must demonstrate team building and collaborative practice behaviors
+ Must demonstrate understanding of performance improvement and quality outcomes management
Certifications and Licenses Required:
+ BLS AHA certification
+ Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
Scheduling Requirements:
+ Day shift, 40 hours per week
Essential Functions:
+ The Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with assigned areas to facilitate peer review, promote patient safety and support regulatory compliance
+ Utilizes principles of continuous quality improvement in all work situations to assess measure and improve organizational and department functions
+ The Coordinator will report program metrics to stakeholders on a regular basis
+ The Coordinator will perform chart and in person audits to ensure compliance with mandatory requirements
+ The Coordinator will work with specific assigned areas to understand and promote performance improvement within those areas
+ Participation in organizational meetings
+ Preparation and participation in regulatory surveys
+ Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments examples damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas and medical errors, etc,
+ The Quality Coordinator provides clinical and quality metric analysis, to ensure MMCSC patients receive safe, high quality of care and a best in class patient experience,
+ Utilizing Performance Analytics tools and other available systems like Press Ganey, CMS Stars, US News and World Report, Leapfrog, Vizient, Nuance, EPIC, qNet, etc,
+ The coordinator will assist with data requirement gathering, prepare reports to measure and trend key performance metrics and present results in an analytical manner,
