    Summary About the Position: This position is located within the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) HQ, Financial & Business Operations, Director of Human Resource Division, Operations & Integration Branch located in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities Provide direction for DoDEA overseas program management Provide technical support to measure the effectiveness for overseas programs, using established metrics. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes providing advice and assistance to management and employees on various overseas topics such as return rights, tour extensions, PPP, etc., give regulatory advise to supervisors/staff on Human Resources matters, ability to prepare thorough guidance/training relating to assigned Human Resources segments (e.g. overseas tours, dependency determinations, overseas entitlements and travel authorizations). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Compliance Program Management Technical Competence Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Additional Information Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement.
