About this Role

As an expanding company, R.R. Cassidy is looking for a Laborer who is experienced, self-motivated, able to work and adapt in fast-paced environments, and willing to embrace the challenges of working with evolving tasks and structures.

+ Candidates must be willing to travel throughout the Southeast United States 80%-100% of the time.

+ Applicants must also be willing to drive to our Prairieville location for 1 week of training and before the start of each hitch.

+ Hotels and travel expenses are paid for by the Company while gone on a job. Meals are covered by $50/day per diem. Transportation methods are provided by the company leaving from the Prairieville, LA location.

What You'll Do

+ Serves as general project laborer

+ Assists in loading and unloading trucks

+ Responsible for housekeeping-related tasks for the equipment, facility, tools, and jobsite

+ Cleans up and assists superintendent with securing jobsite at end of day

+ Works as spotter for equipment operators to ensure safe operation of machinery

+ Provides general assistance as requested to operator s , foremen , leadmen and Superintendents

+ Serves as general support to project teams

+ Actively identifies and proactively addresses safety concerns and communicates to appropriate team members

+ Comply with all DOT regulations and reporting requirements related to CDL status (if applicable)

What You'll Bring

+ Previous experience in construction, civil, or foundation work preferred

+ Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety

+ Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

+ Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods

+ Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive labor tasks

+ Clear communication skills and the ability to take directions from supervisors and crew leaders

+ Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed

+ Familiarity with basic tools and construction equipment

+ Valid driver’s license required ; CDL a plus

+ Must be eligible to work in the United States

+ Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
