VCA Aurora Animal Hospital is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced **Hospital Administrator** to join our outstanding leadership team and oversee daily operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong leadership capabilities, financial insight, and a passion for supporting both people and pets.
VCA Aurora Animal Hospital has proudly served the community since 1912. As a 24/7 facility, we offer comprehensive veterinary services—including specialty, emergency, and primary care—365 days a year. Our collaborative team of general practice veterinarians, emergency clinicians, and board-certified specialists work side by side, utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and innovative therapeutic techniques to deliver exceptional patient care.

What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in personnel and business management, with a proven ability to lead, develop teams, and drive operational success. You’ll work in partnership with the Field Leadership team, Medical Director, and leaders from other locations to support strategic goals and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and support veterinary, technical, and administrative teams to uphold high standards in patient care and client experience
+ Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and team development in coordination with Regional Management
+ Guide hospital operations to achieve growth and profitability goals
+ Maintain facility operations and ensure a welcoming, efficient, and safe environment
+ Develop and implement policies, objectives, and initiatives that support long-term business success
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+ 3–5 years of experience in customer service and financial/budget management
+ Proficiency in sales and marketing strategies
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills across varied audiences
+ Demonstrated ability to lead through delegation, decision-making, and results-oriented action
+ Professional presence with a positive, approachable demeanor
+ Collaborative mindset with respect for veterinary professionals, clients, and their pets
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time role is **$90,000–$120,000** , depending on experience, education, and credentials. Compensation also includes a comprehensive benefits package:
