Position: Account Clerk

Hourly Rate: $16.50 - $19.00

We are seeking an organized and efficient Accounting Clerk, with an eye for detail and accuracy to join our team. This position is entry to midlevel with room for growth and learning. The Accounting Clerk is primarily responsible for providing accounting support and performing accounting and clerical functions. This is a full time position with overtime available.

Duties and Responsibilities may include:

+ Provide accounting and clerical support.

+ Assist with data entry of payable invoices.

+ Assist with preparation of bank deposits.

+ Assist with importing and posting credit card payments.

+ Assist with retrieval and processing of incoming emails.

+ Perform other duties as directed.

Knowledge and skills:

+ Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.

+ Ability to use a computer and knowledge of standard business applications, such as computerized accounting, email and electronic spreadsheet maintenance.

+ Ability to learn new software applications.

Minimum qualifications:

+ High school diploma, associate’s degree preferred.

+ 1 year office/bookkeeping/accounting experience.

+ Computer literacy, including use of Microsoft products.
