Who we’re looking for

Toyota Financial Services is seeking a Senior Software Packaging Engineer with a strong engineering mindset to design and automate software deployment solutions for macOS and Windows environments. This role goes beyond packaging and into building scalable automation, creating deployment frameworks, and driving standards across endpoint platforms for 7,000+ users. You’ll partner closely with platform engineers, security, and support teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and secure endpoint experiences.

What you’ll be doing

+ Engineer and automate software packaging and deployment workflows for macOS and Windows

+ Design and maintain custom scripts and tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to optimize packaging and updates

+ Develop modular and reusable packaging frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for endpoint deployments

+ Build and maintain OS imaging and provisioning solutions with security and compliance baked in

+ Optimize and extend endpoint management platforms (Jamf Pro, Intune, SCCM) with custom automation

+ Lead Level 3 engineering escalations, focusing on root cause analysis and long-term solutions

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, platform, EUC) to align on engineering standards and roadmaps

+ Research and adopt emerging technologies in endpoint automation and packaging

What you bring

+ 5+ years of experience in software packaging and endpoint automation

+ Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) — able to build tools, not just run scripts

+ Proven expertise with InstallShield, AdminStudio, and Jamf Composer for complex packaging scenarios

+ Deep knowledge of Windows and macOS internals (registry, file systems, permissions, launch agents)

+ Experience designing OS imaging/provisioning pipelines for enterprise scale

+ Hands-on work optimizing endpoint management tools (Jamf Pro, Intune, SCCM) beyond day-to-day operations

+ Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for packaging and deployment failures

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence and collaborate across teams

+ Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business goals

Added bonus if you have

+ Associate's Two-Year College Degree.

+ Experience integrating packaging workflows into DevOps/CI pipelines

+ Familiarity with modern macOS frameworks (MDM, DEP, profiles) and Windows Autopilot
