As an Electrical Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. You will provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will also be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, analyzing technical requirements, and implementing electrical engineering strategies and best practices.

Responsibilities

+ Lead a team of Electrical Engineers to design, execute, and commission Electrical Engineering scope of material handling projects.

+ Collaborate with other departments to resolve project execution risks.

+ Interface with customers to develop high-quality designs that meet customer needs.

+ Work with project team to manage project deliverables, tasks, schedules, and financials.

+ Prioritize tasks based on schedule requirements.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.

+ 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.

+ Demonstrable ability and willingness to work in a team environment.

+ Ability to timely escalate issues and roadblocks to engineering management.

+ Ability to adapt and mold execution strategy as per project needs and changing priorities.

+ Willingness and ability to travel 60%.

+ 2 + years of hands-on material handling industry experience.

WE VALUE

+ Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.

+ Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering).

+ Experience in leading engineering projects.

+ Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering.
