    As a L **evel 2 Machinist** here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our machining processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards, while optimizing production schedules.

     

    You will work with a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements.

     

    You will report to one of our Production Supervisors and work onsite in our Spokane, WA plant located on Sullivan Ave, Spokane, Washington.

    TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

    2 Shift: 5:00 pm – 3:30 am **Monday – Thursday**

    3 Shift: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm **Thursday - Sunday**

    **SALARY:** The Salary Range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 per hour plus shift differential. The actual base salary will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

    The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

     

    This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Operate and monitor machining equipment

    + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting

    + Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy

    + Collaborate with engineers and designers

    + Follow safety protocols

    + Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, refractometers and height gauges

    + Use computers and read blueprints.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Prior experience as a machinist or similar role

    + Proficiency in operating and maintaining machining equipment

    + Strong attention to detail and quality control

    + Ability to read blueprints

    WE VALUE

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Experience with CNC machining

    + Knowledge of programming and CAD and / or CAM software
