Job Title: General Laborer - Steel Form Preparation

Job Description

Join a dynamic team responsible for cleaning and preparing steel forms used in concrete projects worldwide. This entry-level position involves assembling, disassembling, and replacing components, as well as operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Clean and prepare steel forms for painting and repair.

+ Assemble, disassemble, and replace components as needed.

+ Move and stack parts according to requirements.

+ Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

+ Count, stack, bundle, band, and palletize parts.

+ Ensure all operational procedures are meticulously followed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency with hand tools.

+ Basic knowledge of construction practices.

+ Experience in general labor tasks.

+ Ability to accurately use a tape measure.

+ Understanding of general tool operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Experience in construction is advantageous.

+ Experience in general manufacturing and concrete work.

+ Knowledge of power tools and forklift operation.

+ Strong work ethic and ability to perform physical labor.

+ Capability to work in various weather conditions.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marlboro, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
