Electrical Set Up Technician
Job Description
As a Set Up Technician, you will be responsible for performing regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and monthly safety checks. You will make modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system. Additionally, you will complete all assigned paperwork and coordinate with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data accuracy.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive maintenance and monthly safety checks.
+ Modify equipment and facilities according to work order schedules.
+ Complete and coordinate paperwork with the Reliability Supervisor.
+ Test, analyze, and adjust electro-mechanical devices such as timers, relays, solenoid valves, and electrically activated regulators.
+ Familiarize yourself with major components such as power units, processor operation, and simple programming.
+ Make repairs and troubleshoot components using meters, electrical schematics, blueprints, and other specifications.
+ Assemble wires, insulation, and electrical components like timing devices, relays, solenoids, and regulators.
+ Test assembled equipment for circuit continuity and operational reliability.
+ Calibrate instruments according to specifications.
+ Understand, troubleshoot, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
+ Perform machine setup and mechanical tasks.
+ Complete other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ 2+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
+ 1 year of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment
+ 1 year of experience with tools, procedures, and methods utilized in an industrial maintenance environment
+ 1 year of experience with electronic and PLC-based applications in an industrial environment

Work Environment
The work environment is hot, with a shift pattern of 2/2/3, working Monday to Friday from 7 pm to 7 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mcdonough, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
