    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce high-quality components.

    + Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

    + Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.

    + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.

    + Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

    + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

    Essential Skills

    + Machine operation expertise.

    + Experience in machining and machine operating.

    + Proficiency in metal manufacturers

    + Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + 2+ years of experience operating machines, preferably CNC machines

    + Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.

    + Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    + Experience with multi-spindle screw machines.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a metal machine shop setting, typically noisy, and involves getting dirty from oils and machine operation. You will be on 2nd shift, which operates Monday through Thursday from 5 pm to 5 am, with training on first shift 7 am-3 pm for 1-2 months. You must have the flexibility to train on 1st shift but transition into 2nd once completed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
