    Job Title: Paint Technician

    Job Description

    The Paint Technician is responsible for the adjustment, setup, and maintenance of machine and equipment parameters. This role ensures the proper functioning of all machinery and equipment while adhering to safety practices, safeguarding both self and team members from potential injuries. The Paint Technician collaborates with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective production of quality products. The position operates on the 2nd Shift, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise and manage shift operations and training of operators and utilities.

    + Act as the lead when the supervisor is absent.

    + Coordinate workflow throughout the department.

    + Adjust, perform preventive maintenance, and monitor machines to ensure product control.

    + Coordinate and advise on product and production issues with peers across shifts.

    + Provide technical expertise and collaborate with other departments to ensure quality, productivity, and inspection procedures align with department needs.

    + Participate in company programs such as communications and job training.

    + Comply with all company rules and regulations.

    + Set, troubleshoot, and adjust paint and secondary equipment.

    + Complete all applicable reports.

    + Verify and change process setups to ensure products meet design intent and customer specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of experience in mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools.

    + Experience in maintenance, paint equipment setup, and operation of paint equipment.

    + Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.

    + Experience setting up and operating manufacturing equipment, including tool room equipment, mills, lathes, presses, injection molding machines, saws, etc.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Ability to walk for the entire work shift.

    + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

    + Repeated bending and lifting during the shift.

    + Ability to wear steel-toe footwear.

    + Capability to work from heights with proper PPE.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.90/hr.
