    Job Description

    As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing line maintenance on Boeing 747, 767, and 777 passenger and cargo aircraft. You will work in an outdoor line station environment, responding to customer maintenance calls and carrying out repairs and replacements of interior parts, fluids, and components as needed. You will also sign off on airworthiness. The role involves working in teams of 3-4 mechanics per lead, supporting an airline with the highest flight volume and several other airlines with a handful of flights per day.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform line maintenance on Boeing 747, 767, and 777 aircraft.

    + Respond to customer maintenance calls in a timely manner.

    + Repair and replace interior parts, fluids, and components as needed.

    + Ensure the airworthiness of aircraft by signing off on completed work.

    + Collaborate with a team of 3-4 mechanics under the guidance of a lead.

    + Support multiple airlines, focusing on those with the highest flight volume.

    Essential Skills

    + A&P license required.

    + Minimum 6 months industry experience.

    + 4+ years of recent experience on Boeing 747, 767, or 777 preferred.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair.

    + Ability to work with a tool list specific to Boeing aircraft.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ownership of basic tools required.

    + General Familiarization training preferred on Boeing 747-400, 747-8, or 767.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment consists of outdoor line maintenance, occasionally at significant heights when repairing aircraft tails. Shifts are 10 hours long with three available time slots: 6am - 4pm, 12pm - 10pm, and 9pm - 7am. Most maintenance occurs between 12pm and 4pm, so shifts overlap during these hours. New hires typically train on the morning or afternoon shift to maximize maintenance exposure.

    The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $97760.00/yr.
