Job Title: Nights 2-2-3 Operator

Job Description

As a Nights 2-2-3 Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and safe machine operation while producing high-quality products. You will be responsible for finish product packaging, inspecting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and completing necessary paperwork and data entry. You will also assist in the packaging area and cross-train on other machine operation duties to maintain a clean and orderly production area.

Responsibilities

+ Operate state-of-the-art equipment that processes and packages beverages in both cans and bottles.

+ Collaborate with others to produce quality products that meet customer needs.

+ Troubleshoot equipment and develop solutions to eliminate inefficiencies in the manufacturing process.

+ Change over and adjust equipment between production runs.

+ Accurately create and consume inventory in an inventory management system.

+ Operate a forklift or pallet jack to move pallets of raw material.

+ Ensure sanitation of the plant and equipment.

+ Perform quality checks on products.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Attend production meetings.

+ Complete necessary paperwork.

+ Troubleshoot and communicate any issues with the process or equipment.

+ Utilize computer skills to work in the ERP system and other necessary programs.

+ Assist in other parts of the facility as needed.

+ Follow food safety and regulatory policies and procedures, and report any concerns to the Production or Quality Manager.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of Machine Operating Experience in a production environment.

+ Ability to frequently lift up to 60lbs.

+ Experience in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

+ High speed production skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior Food Production experience preferred, but not required.

+ General labor, mixing, production, food handling, batching, calipers, assembly, inspection.

+ Experience with hand and power tools, forklift operation, and computer skills including programming.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47236.00 - $47236.00/yr.

Direct Hire. 3 weeks Paid Vacation Pro rated for the year.
