    Job Title: Cement Lining Operator

    Job Description

    Apply cement coating to the interior surfaces of pipes by performing various duties.

    Responsibilities

    + Install cement dams at the ends of pipes prior to the cementing operation.

    + Install round-up rings on pipes.

    + Operate cement mixer and hopper to dispense cement into the pipe rolling area.

    + Install pipes into rollers, operate controls to spin pipes, and monitor the cementing operation to ensure proper disbursement of cement into pipes.

    + Clean the cementing area to prevent cement hardening in the work area.

    + Read drawings and job specifications to confirm the correct thickness of concrete.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using hand tools, 2” water hose, cement mixing/pouring control console, and impact gun.

    + General labor, construction, and production experience.

    + Physical ability to reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

    + Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 75 pounds occasionally.

    + Specific vision abilities including distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Three to six months of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals..

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $42286.00 - $42286.00/yr.
