    Job Title: Aircraft Structural Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled Aircraft Structural Technicians for three distinct positions: Structures Backshop, Commercial Hangar, and Government Hangar. Technicians will engage in repairing, refurbishing, and fabricating flight controls and structural components including elevators, ailerons, rudders, leading edge flaps, slats, spoilers, and stabilizers. Tasks will involve sheet metal riveting, precision drilling, fabrication, countersinking, reaming, cutting, deburring, and trimming.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform repairs, maintenance, and modifications on aircraft structures.

    + Work on a bench for Structures Backshop, handling flight controls and structural components.

    + Operate within a Part 145 MRO environment for Commercial Hangar, focusing on corporate jets and general aviation aircraft.

    + Conduct C & D Checks on Dornier 328 aircraft in the Government Hangar with an emphasis on corrosion repair.

    + Utilize various sheet metal fasteners including button head rivets, countersunk rivets, blind rivets, CherryMAX rivets, Hi-Loks, Hi-lites, and bolts.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in aircraft repairs, maintenance, or modifications.

    + Ownership of a basic set of tools.

    + Stable job history with expertise in sheet metal and airframe repair.

    + Proficiency in aviation maintenance, rivet, aircraft sheet metal, aircraft modification, and aircraft maintenance repair.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Heavy Maintenance experience is preferred.

    + Corporate Aircraft experience is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in climate-controlled, FAA-regulated hangars. Enjoy a four-day work week from either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, with hours from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Overtime is often available. The dress code is casual, ensuring a comfortable work atmosphere.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Englewood, Colorado.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
