    Your Typical Day:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned Opportunity Centers and functional service areas

    • Supervise and support Opportunity Center staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients

    • Develop and implement strategies to expand access and inclusivity for underserved communities

    • Collaborate with partner agencies to coordinate outreach, recruitment, and service expansion

    • Facilitate strategic planning with the Chief Mission Officer to align with long-term goals

    • Cross-train staff and volunteers to ensure consistent service and knowledge-sharing

    • Manage partnerships and coordinate career services with core and required partners

    • Evaluate and report on key performance measures, outcomes, and client satisfaction

    • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect best practices

    • Coordinate and deliver training activities for staff and clients

    • Represent Goodwill in community meetings and outreach events to promote services

    • Foster relationships with employers to enhance job placement opportunities

    • Provide timely reporting on performance measures and funding outcomes

    • Lead team meetings and maintain open communication with internal and external stakeholders

    • Attend ongoing professional development trainings

    • Other duties as assigned

    What You’ll Need:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or human services preferred

    • Minimum five years of experience in workforce development and team management (relevant Goodwill experience considered)

    • Proven ability to motivate and assist individuals with barriers to employment

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with public speaking and external engagement

    • Experience collaborating with funders, employers, and community partners

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and workforce data platforms

    • Strong time, workflow, and project management abilities

    • Skilled in performance data analysis and interpretation for continuous improvement

    • Ability to manage diverse teams and lead through change

    • Understanding of grant regulations, outcomes-based programming, and compliance

    • Must possess a valid driver’s license, personal insurance, and reliable transportation

    • Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends to meet business needs
