Salary: $2456 / Week

e Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Specific Requirements?

+ WA RN License or compact, BLS

+ Previous psych experience - 1 year preferred

+ Ratios: 1:12 on obs unit, RN will be taking vitals. BHS on unit will assist as well

+ Must be either local or have previous nursing experience in WA - they need a solid understanding of WA State regulations and laws surrounding medication management

+ Need tough and experienced candidates, able to hold their own.

+ Credentialing specs are standard + physical, up to date TB test, Flu shot once the season starts, BLS, NPI number (free), HCA Provider One ID (free)

+ EMR: Avatar, will train

Notes from the manager:

Candidates will be working on obs unit primarily. Will only be floated in serious emergencies. If floated, they will go to voluntary inpatient unit.
