**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career customer-oriented **Engineering Technician** to join our team in **Panama City, FL** . This is an **onsite** position

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting

+ Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits

+ Repairing simple electrical/electronic equipment

+ Taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters and signal generators

+ Performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed

+ Selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents

+ Receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed

+ Troubleshoots and corrects electrical malfunctions

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma

+ 1+ years of experience in using a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments

+ 1+ years of experience assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with components and wiring circuits and repairing simple electrical/electronic equipment

+ Proficient written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills

Clearance Requirements:

+ U.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret security clearance or ability to get an Interim Secret before starting

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to lift and carry 50 Lbs.

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

+ Climb and descend ladders.
