_POSITION SUMMARY:_
The Director of Marketing is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the overall business. They lead and manage a marketing team, oversee marketing budgets, and ensure brand consistency across all channels. Their focus is on driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth for Bass Pro Shops Hospitality.
_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_
+ In partnership with ownership and the Senior Leadership Team establish brand identity and brand standards in relation to marketing and public relations
+ Responsible for overseeing, directing and managing Big Cedar’s advertising, direct marketing, online/web marketing, promotions and strategic partnerships
+ Oversee all aspects of Big Cedar public relations, ensuring that the information and messaging about Big Cedar is in accordance with brand standards and the wishes of ownership
+ Responsible for tracking and analyzing campaign results
+ Oversee the production of marketing and resort collateral in accordance with brand standards
+ Responsible for all aspects of accurate budget management for advertising and promotions
+ Be proactive in identifying ways to promote and cross-promote Big Cedar, Top of the Rock, Dogwood Canyon and Buffalo Ridge services and amenities to maximize revenue
+ Provide superior service to our customers (both internal and external) at all times. Follow Big Cedar’s Service Standards at all times
+ Partner with Bass Pro Shop’s marketing department to create and deliver successful marketing collateral and campaigns
+ Other duties as assigned
_EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:_
+ Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Marketing/Business preferred
+ 4+ years leading marketing efforts preferred
+ Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
+ Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role with experience in coordination and managing staff
_KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:_
+ Building relationships with team members, other departments, and external partners
+ Proficiency in relevant marketing technologies, such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and social media management tools
+ Building relationships with team members, other departments, and external partners
+ Identifying and resolving marketing challenges, adapting to changing market conditions
+ Generating innovative marketing ideas and campaigns that capture attention and drive results
+ Managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
+ Analyzing marketing data, identifying trends, and measuring the success of marketing campaigns
+ Effectively communicating marketing plans and strategies to various stakeholders, including team members, senior management, and external partners
+ Inspiring and motivating marketing teams, fostering a collaborative environment, and providing guidance
+ Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies that align with overall business goals
+ Knowledge of brand development, brand management, and consistent messaging across all platforms is key
+ Proficiency in areas like SEO, social media marketing, content marketing, and email marketing is essential in today's landscape
+ Understanding how to conduct market research, analyze data, and identify trends

**_INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT_** :
Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
