    POSITION: Special Education Teacher, Full-year substitute (2 positions)

    DESCRIPTION:

    The successful candidates will have:

    + Knowledge and background related to NYS learning standards

    + Experience with differentiating instruction for students with diverse academic challenges

    + The ability to meet a student's social-emotional and academic needs in a one-on-one academic setting (for one of the positions)

    + Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills

    + Desire to work collaboratively as part of an academic team

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification - Students with Disabilities

     

    COMPENSATION: Step 1 of Starpoint Teachers' Association agreement, health and dental insurance benefits provided
