    Position Title: Food Service Helper IO 6

     

    Brief Description: Performs a wide range of duties involved with preparing and/or serving food, customer service, cleaning, cashiering and money handling. Must be able to stand long hours and must be independent. Individuals must be a team player and perform a variety of duties as required or directed. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions is necessary for recipe production and portion control record keeping. Hours can vary based on the school’s needs. Must be available from 5:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Imperative that you be on time and maintain good attendance.

    Civil Service Requirements:

    + Working knowledge of sanitary procedures in food preparation and serving; working knowledge of methods and equipment used in large scale preparation and serving of food; working knowledge of proper use of cleaning supplies and dishwashing methods; working knowledge of basic arithmetic; ability to follow simple oral and written instructions; neatness; cleanliness; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
