    Some of what you'll be doing:

    As an Aviation Security Compliance Analyst, you will develop, implement, and administer security measures and programs for the compliance of Title 49 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 1500 series. You will also serve as a technical expert in security compliance including program administration to support department initiatives.

     

    + You will plan, develop, and implement major security policies to ensure compliance of the Airport Security Program (ASP) in accordance with the federal regulations (CFRs).

    + You will monitor and enforce security programs and requirements, including identifying, and implementing key programs to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness while increasing productivity.

    + You will act as a liaison with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) by building and maintaining a strong working relationship with internal and external customers, including the TSA for the Security Department.

    + You will perform technical reviews, data analysis strategy development in part to makecritical recommendations concerning security measures implemented at SEA.

    + You will collect, interpret, and analyze data to identify trends and patterns. You will also create comprehensive reports.

    + You will create training and educational content related to the Aviation Security Program (ASP) for all badge holders.

    + You will ensure that Aviation Security’s internal appeals process for security citations is effective and consistent with the methods of due process and the Airport Rules and Regulations.

    + You will oversee SEA’s CCTV policies including conducting sensitive CCTV reviews for Public Disclosure Requests.

    Who you are:

    + **Experienced** – You have three (3) years of experience in airport/security operations or public safety.

    + **Desired** – We hope you have National Incident Management System (NIMS) classes and/or American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Ace Security Certification.

    + **Analytical** – You can analyze and visualize data into actionable conclusions using information design best practices business problem-solving skills.

    What else you need to know:

    + **Work Schedule** – Your normal work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Slightly more flexible start and end times are available in this role. You may be required to work during emergencies.

    + **Work Environment** – You will primarily work in an office environment.

    + **Washington State Residency Requirement** – Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle. If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.

    + **Security Requirements** – As the successful candidate, you must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check as well as a criminal history background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Your employment will be contingent upon obtaining a Port of Seattle ID badge upon clearance. You will be required to obtain a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) Customs Seal within 30 days of hire.
