    Schedule: 1st shift

     

    Starting pay: $20.00 per hour

     

    Schedule: 1st Shift

    Position Summary:

    As part of an award winning team in the logistics industry, you will perform the essential inspection and repair of railroad track on a specified territory of railroad.

    Areas of Responsibility:

    + Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures

    + Inspect railroad track to identify installation and repairs that can be performed by Road & Rail Services

    + Remove, replace and repair track components (ties, rails, bars, switches)

    + Document all repairs, properly accounting for actual time and parts utilized

    + Perform authorized repairs to customer, company and industry specification

    What's Required:

    + High School Diploma/GED or Ability

    + Must possess and demonstrate appropriate mechanical aptitude, as determined by the facility manager, to successfully perform the tasks associated with track installation and repair

    + Safety first mentality

    + Ability to work in fast paced environment

    + Able to meet attendance requirements

    + A team work, can do attitude and willing to learn

    + Valid state driver's license
