About the Role

As a **Residential- Field Service Specialist** , you’ll be responsible for replacing and testing residential gas meters in the field. You’ll ensure safe and accurate installations while interacting professionally with utility customers. This role is part of a multi-year project.

What You’ll Do

+ Remove and install residential gas meters and regulators.

+ Perform gas leak tests using company-provided equipment.

+ Identify and repair gas leaks and abnormal operating conditions.

+ Shut down and relight gas appliances safely.

+ Collect and document installation data using a handheld device.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with utility customers.

+ Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

+ Ability to pass a pre-employment MVR, background check, and DOT PHMSA-compliant drug screen.

+ Physical ability to work outdoors for up to 10 hours/day in all weather conditions.

+ Comfortable using hand tools and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in natural gas field service or meter installation.

+ Familiarity with gas appliance safety and operation.

+ Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

+ Experience with handheld devices and basic software tools.

**Pay Details:** $22.00 per hour
