Job Title: INVENTORY ANALYST

**Job Type:** Full-time; Consultant (6 Months)

**Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate:** **$42 per hour

_This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-driven **Inventory Analyst** to support a major aerospace operation. Based on a **full-time, 6-month consulting engagement** , this role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy and driving operational efficiency. With a steady weekday schedule and no material handling responsibilities, this position is perfect for a data-savvy professional who thrives in logistics and process optimization.

What You’ll Do:

+ Manage **inventory control functions** , including stockroom oversight and material distribution analysis

+ **Plan and schedule cycle counts** , organize recounts, and reconcile discrepancies with precision

+ Respond to **internal and external audits** , ensuring all inventory data meets compliance and quality standards

+ Collaborate closely with **shift supervisors** to identify, resolve, and prevent inventory issues

+ Maintain clear, proactive communication with internal teams to ensure alignment on supply requirements

+ Monitor and manage the **inventory adjustment report** and flag inconsistencies for resolution

+ Analyze data and make recommendations to improve inventory tracking and reporting systems

What You Bring to the Team:

Required Qualifications:

+ Proven experience in inventory analysis, control, or materials management

+ Strong skills in planning and executing **cycle counts and inventory audits**

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments

+ High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational discipline

+ Comfortable working in a structured environment with union-based operations (no material handling)

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Previous experience in **aerospace or manufacturing environments**

+ Familiarity with ERP or inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

+ Knowledge of inventory compliance standards in regulated industries

**Pay Details:** $42.00 per hour
