- Book of the Month (New York, NY)

Summary:
Book of the Month is looking for a Production Coordinator to help support and execute creative work across a wide range of channels. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, keeps projects on track, and isn’t afraid to jump in and help push the project forward – whether through copywriting, design, or content production. This role sits within our in-house Creative team and works cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Editorial, and beyond. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, communicates clearly and directly, and is excited to keep projects moving from start to finish.
What you’ll do:
+ Assist in production for video, social, podcasts, and more — and bring your own creative POV to the table.
+ Participate directly in design, photography or content creation..
+ Translate stakeholder requests into organized, actionable creative briefs that the team can easily execute against.
+ Work closely with the Manager of Creative Operations to assign briefs, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of all assets.
+ Create and maintain detailed project plans using our project management software (Asana), always keeping them up to date in real-time.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to proactively identify roadblocks, solve problems quickly, and keep things moving.
+ Capture detailed notes in creative reviews and translate feedback into clear action items for the Creative team.
+ Help manage external freelancers when needed, and determine what resources are required to get the job done.
We’re looking for someone who:
+ Has 1–2 years of experience in project management, creative operations, or production — agency or in-house.
+ Is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
+ Communicates clearly and directly — you're not afraid to ask questions or have tough conversations when needed.
+ Thinks two steps ahead and always knows what’s coming next.
+ Has strong attention to detail and can turn an unclear request into clean, creative deliverables.
+ Can assist with creative needs in a meaningful way, whether it be copy, design, photography, videography, etc.
+ Understands the BOTM brand and can act as a translator between Creative and the rest of the business.
+ Can assist in creative needs in some kind of way, whether it be design, photography, videography, etc.
Bonus points if you:
+ Have experience with video, design, copy, or social production
+ Are familiar with Asana or other project management tools
+ Love books
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
