Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Job Summary:
You will supervise, provide training, coordinate, and monitor activities of nursing staff. Additionally, you will provide comprehensive care management, care coordination, health promotion, comprehensive transitional care, individual and family support services, and referral to community and social support services through person-centered care planning.
What You Will Do:
+ Provide nursing assessment, analysis of lab results, etc. and communicate to team members in written and oral presentation as appropriate
+ Coordinate care management across all medical care providers (including psychiatry) by understanding and valuing the roles and responsibilities of other team members, expressing professional opinions and resolving differences of opinion quickly, providing and seeking consultation, and fostering shared decision making
+ Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous psychiatric injections, including long-acting antipsychotics and other psychotropic medications, per provider orders.
+ Perform phlebotomy for labs commonly required in psychiatric care (e.g., lithium levels, CBC, metabolic panels, clozapine monitoring, etc.).
+ Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and HIPAA protocols.
+ Support psychiatric providers with clinical coordination, including verifying medication schedules and lab results.
+ Provide medication and treatment related education to consumers and family members, including medication purpose, side effects, and lab monitoring schedules
+ Offer on-site as well as outreach services (including transport of consumers)
+ Work with administrative staff to ensure that all services are documented based on billing and regulatory standards; collects information on consumers' insurance and reflects all demographic data
What We Need to See:
+ Must have an R.N. degree from an accredited college or university
+ Two years' experience working within a behavioral health setting.
+ Familiarity with psychiatric medications, including clozapine, lithium, and LAIs. Performing phlebotomy.
+ Valid NJ RN License
+ Valid CPR Certification
+ Phlebotomy Certification or experience preferrable
+ Valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance
