    Logistics Analyst - DoD Supply Experience Desired (5042)

     

    GVI, Inc., a DoD contractor industry leader, is seeking **Logistics Analyst** to perform physical inventory functions at NavalSea Logistics Command in Mechanicsburg, PA.

     

    We are hiring one Logistics Analyst to perform frustrated material identification functions on behalf of our NSLC customer in Mechanicsburg, PA. The candidate must have experience in material identification within a DoD environment.

     

    _Experience with software tools such as FEDLOG, Haystack, WebFLIS, N-ERP, Maximo, etc. is_ **_necessary._**

    Qualified candidates will be expected to:

    + Assist with the processing of material that cannot be readily identified.

    + Record receipt of any frustrated material (items that cannot be readily cross-referenced to purchase orders, items without identifying information or items with incorrect information), Pre-Expended Bin (PEBs), excess and obsolete material to be processed via Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO), as well as identifying materials that need to go into stowage.

    + Ability to recognize a P/N, NIIN, PIIN, Document Number etc. and distinguish between them is required.

    + Support the development, implementation and evaluation of package, handling, storage and transportation to satisfy operational availability requirements.

    Position Requirements:

    + US Citizen.

    + Active Secret Clearance.

    + High School diploma or GED.

    + Minimum of one (1) year of related experience as described above.

    _Additional requirements for the Logistics Analyst position:_

    + Minimum 5 years of Supply Experience

    + Experience in material identification and at least one of the supply material identification tools mentioned above.

    + 1-year N-ERP experience.
