    Education:Associate's degree in business or related field or combination of education and equivalent experience

    Job Description

    Perform processing of manual and electronic payments, adjustments and voids/refunds in the Behavioral Health EMR Billing system. Cash receipt and posting reconciliation. Process secondary insurance billing and photocopying of primary EOB’s. Retrieval of electronic EFT payment backup. Perform periodic account analysis and reconciliation. Review denials or partially paid claims and works to resolve discrepancies. Communicate with health care providers, patients, insurance claims representatives and other parties to clarify billing issues and facilitate timely payments. Provide excellent and professional customer service. Experience in health care setting. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Computer skills including word processing and data entry required. Experience in dealing with internal and external customers in a fast-paced multi-task environment required.
