**Job Title:** Maintenance Worker – CNC Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Houston, TX 77040 (Northwest )

**Schedule:** Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

**Pay Rate:** $35 hr

**Employment Type:** [Full-time | Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary:

Valco is seeking a skilled **CNC Maintenance Technician** to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and performance testing of CNC machinery and other equipment across our machine shops. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electronic systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex machinery to ensure maximum productivity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform diagnostics and repair on CNC and other industrial machines

+ Replace or repair malfunctioning components and defective parts

+ Disassemble equipment to identify issues and perform needed repairs

+ Inspect and test machinery using diagnostic tools and operator feedback

+ Reassemble equipment after inspections and repairs

+ Clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery to ensure proper function

+ Operate machines after repair to verify functionality

+ Record all maintenance activities, including parts used and issues diagnosed

+ Order replacement parts and maintain necessary inventory levels

+ Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Strong understanding of CNC machines and mechanical/electrical systems

+ Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals

+ Knowledge of electronic systems including circuit boards and chips

+ Ability to analyze machine diagnostics, error codes, and operator feedback

+ Capable of working independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

+ Strong problem-solving and documentation skills

Physical Requirements:

+ Must be able to frequently lift, push, or pull objects weighing 50 lbs or more

+ Able to stand, bend, kneel, or climb as required to perform maintenance tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum of 3 years of related experience in industrial or CNC machine maintenance **Please come into office to be placed on assignment** **333 N Sam Houston Parkway E Houston, TX 77060** **Mon-Fri 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm**
