What You’ll Do

As an **Equipment Technician** , you’ll support our Respiratory Therapy department by ensuring all equipment is clean, functional, and readily available for patient care. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to the safe and effective delivery of respiratory services across Baystate Medical Center.

Your responsibilities will include:

+ Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining respiratory care equipment

+ Assembling equipment according to protocol

+ Ensuring timely processing and availability of supplies

+ Managing stock levels and preparing carts for use

+ Observing infection control, isolation, and body substance precautions

+ Performing EKG tracings as needed

What You’ll Bring

+ High School diploma or GED

+ CPR certification (required)

+ Experience in a patient care setting or with patient care-related equipment preferred

+ Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety and sterilization protocols

+ Strong organizational skills and a team-first mindset
