Responsibilities
What you'll do:
+ Responsible for providing enterprise-wide Security support and local Facility Security Officer/Contractor Program Security Officer support as part of the V2X Security team. Assists the security manager with the administration of DOD or other industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
+ Assists with processing basic security tasks to include maintaining clearance records, reviewing SF86s, processing security related Government forms, and other security tasks with oversight and direction of the Security Manager. Initiative and sound judgement are required in the performance of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provides support to the administration of DoD or other industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures that are non-IT related.
+ Assess with continuous vetting investigations and adjudications.
+ Initiates and conducts reviews of SF86 electronic applications via the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) in support of the Security team.
+ Assists with conducting personnel security briefs and debriefs.
+ Other security related issues may include physical access to buildings, room, couriers, clearances, Communication Security (COMSEC), packages, documentation and debriefings.
+ Assists with Investigations of losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions.
+ Perform other job duties as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Education/Experience: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
+ Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
+ 1-2 years of related industrial security field experience with a Bachelors; or an Associates with 4 years' of related industrial security field experience; or 6 years' of related industrial security field experience with a high school diploma.
+ DoD Personnel Security (PERSEC) field experience.
+ Experience supporting National Industrial Security Program
+ Secret Clearance:
+ Currently enrolled in DoD CE with active Secret eligibility
+ Other Requirements:
+ Must be a United States Citizen.
+ Business Acumen :
+ Working knowledge of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
+ Working knowledge of the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS)
+ Working knowledge of the Security Information Management System (SIMS)
+ Working knowledge of DoD Personnel Security procedures including but not limited to Authorization for Smart Card Login Access (ASCL), and Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS)
+ Skills:
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Works well in a team environment.
+ Ability to multi-task.
+ Superior data entry skills.

+ National Background Investigation Services (NBIS)
+ SharePoint

+ The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
+ USD $ 45,000 - 70,000
+ Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
