    Responsibilities

    * Submit orders in the EMR to change attendings daily

    * Monitor, initiate, enter data, and notify Hospitalists of death certificates for the medical portion.

    * Enter pretest patients into charge capturing system daily.

    * Review for missing charges in charge capturing system daily.

    * Answer phone

    * Review and deliver faxes to MD

    * Complete Prior Authorizations for prescriptions

    * Order supplies

    Qualifications

    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

     

    Active, unencumbered Practical Nurse license

     

    BLS required prior to hire

    In accordance with the St. Vincent Health System mission and core values, the licensed practical nurse will perform care requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills. The LPN uses patient care skills, teamwork, meets practice guidelines, and follows clinic specific policies and regulatory standards, under the supervision of the clinic physician.

    Pay Range

    $20.17 - $27.73 /hour
