    POSITION PURPOSE

    The ERP Security Administrator supports the application security for all of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems such as Human Resources, Finance, Workforce Management, and Supply Chain Management. Participates in and assists in the planning, development, design, testing, migration and implementation of new Security roles, and upgrades and new functionality. Ensures performance access, reliability, availability of all ERP systems and provides problem resolution as needed. The security admin provides routine security support to ERP system users and staff on resolution of incidents, problem triage, technical analysis, and resolution follow-up. The level is expected to possess an advanced understanding of application security functions.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    + Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.

    + Responsible for creation, management and support of Security and User Accounts within the ERP environment including security at the program, file, data, and field levels.

    + Maintains ERP systems security through user profile management. Creates and updates access permissions and maintains user accounts.

    + Responsible for trouble shooting and resolving simple to complex issues. Can analyze and look beyond the obvious. Demonstrates deep knowledge of multiple methods of problem resolution. Able to create short term workarounds while considering how to identify “root cause” to develop permanent “fix” for issues.

    + Follows appropriate problem solving paths and escalates as appropriate. Knows when to seek internal solutions and when to go to external sources.

    + Responsible for security monitoring and control of ERP environment and user access rights. Provides advanced support in these areas.

    + Is the “source” of knowledge for ERP security and proactively functions in that capacity.

    + Maintains documentation for all user access and develops means for providing on a timely basis as requested.

    + Implements and updates all security and user management support processes and procedures in accordance with audit requirements.

    + Monitors and manages support requests logged to the security administration team, with resolution documented correctly and adequately once resolved.

    + Assesses all problems and potential security issues and resolves if possible or escalates to management. Able to resolve very complex issues independently.

    + Responsible for reporting technical application issues to vendor and works with vendor’s technical resources to resolve issues. Follows up on open issues and escalates as needed.

    + Assists the ERP team in the delivery of information security governance, risk assessments and projects, as required. Recommends improvements / changes based upon experience.

    + Works with ERP System Administration team to implement automated monitoring policies and rules in line with RHM security policies and standards.

    + Identifies security alerts and potential security issues and investigate, escalate and resolve in accordance with risk and priority.

    + Refines and implements monitoring and control security policies and rules. Responsible for developing new policies and procedures.

    + Generates and regularly reviews ad-hoc reports and investigates and either resolves or escalates identified issues. Able to resolve almost all problems independently.

    + Regularly reviews user access rights on ERP environments and security systems.

    + Regularly validates users and corresponding access rights with ERP super users at the RHM's.

    + Evaluates new ERP applications to ensure that they comply with the TIS security policies and security administration requirements as required.

    + Performs testing of security administration aspects of new ERP releases and enhancements.

    + Conducts analysis, documents findings, drafts plans and follows up.

    + Directs small to large projects in areas of responsibility including the work efforts of other colleagues.

    + Interacts with ERP support team and RHM business managers as appropriate.

    + Develops, implements and maintains monitoring and control security policies, rules and management procedures for the ERP environments.

    + Recommends enhancements / changes that may involve custom design, optional and third party products to improve eh efficiency and effectiveness of ERP Systems.

    + Attends applicable ERP security education classes.

    + Identifies, encourages and documents departmental process and procedural changes.

    + Develops and carries out procedures to ensure that all services meet the ERP Service Level Agreements (SLA).

    + Collaborates with colleagues and supervisors to resolve cross-departmental problems or issues.

    + Possesses and demonstrates leadership ability in all aspects of work.

    + Seizes opportunities to simplify processes for simple to complex tasks.

    + Ensures that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames. Spends time and the time of others on what is important. Understands priorities and works on the high priority items first.

    + Completes broad scope assignments independent of supervision on-time, within budget with measureable effective and efficient results.

    + Participates in coaching and mentoring others in their work efforts.

    + Able to fill in for manager when manager is unavailable.

    + Self-educates and seeks knowledge from mentors / management of TIS enterprise, Information Services environment and RHM operations relevant to their position and participates in continuing education and seminars specific to job responsibilities.

    + Takes initiative to maintain and increase detailed functional knowledge of application modules including integration points with other modules and technical implications, and to learn new skills.

    + Proactively researches trends in marketplace related to areas of responsibilities and makes recommendations based upon research.

    + Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

    + pay grade 14 range 84,491.07-126,736.6031 Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or relevant work experience in an Application Support environment and a minimum of five (5) years' experience and knowledge of IT applications related to healthcare and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) hands-on IT experience, participating in Information Technology implementation and support activities and teams as required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + A minimum of five (5) years' experience in ERP security implementation or upgrade experience preferred.

    + Experience documenting security and user access requirements required.

    + Previous experience with ERP Security Software implementation and support preferred.

    + Previous experience in a UNIX environment preferred.

    + General knowledge of Healthcare operations, including an understanding of Healthcare specific terminology preferred.

    + Some experience and knowledge of system design, test execution and documentation.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with customers/clients, vendors, management and staff.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

    + Ability to troubleshoot all complex issues/problems.

    + Experience in maintaining project schedules, documentation, communications, and meeting deadlines required.

    + Ability to learn new skills quickly in a fast paced environment.

    + Acute attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Ability to manage the implementation and support of applications over the health system.

    + Ability to troubleshoot simple to moderately complex problems and determine root causes.

    + Able to multi-task at a basic level.

    + Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

    PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

    + This position operates in a typical office environment. The area is well-lit, temperature-controlled and free from hazards. Incumbent communicates frequently, in person and over the telephone, with people in a number of different locations on technical issues. Manual dexterity is needed in order to operate a keyboard. Hearing is needed for extensive telephone and in person communications. The environment in which the incumbent will work requires the ability to concentrate, meet deadlines, work on several projects at the same period and adapt to interruptions.

    + The incumbent must be capable of traveling in the course of completing project assignments.

    + The incumbent may provide 24X7 on-call rotation support for software application, which includes applying fixes and quick resolution to production problems, errors and issues; disk space problems; program code, etc. Responds to high risk situations, unknown failures and critical restorations under direction of management or senior applications programmers. Documents “fix-it” procedural guides for technical support team members.
