To provide organizational (administrative, clerical, and reception) support to the Board of Dentistry's Executive Director, Practitioner Review Assistant Director, Practitioner Review staff and Committee members, and the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Correspond with public and licensees via phone and email related to complaint process
+ Manage requests for public documents related to discipline and corrective action
+ Process data requests at the direction of Executive Director
+ Scan documents, create organized files, combine and bookmark electronic records
+ Maintain agency-wide scheduling calendar and provide support for Practitioner Review Committee
+ Review and update Board's website in relation to complaint processes and uploading disciplinary actions
+ Prepare and send out complaint related documentation to public and licensees
+ Set up meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and assist with uploading meeting materials onto SharePoint site
+ Conduct research and complete projects and related work needed by Executive Director, PRC Assistant Director or staff
Minimum Qualifications

+ Knowledge of communications sufficient to compose correspondence with accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation; and to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
+ Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through e-mail and other written correspondence; effectively communicate and elicit information with tack and diplomacy in difficult situations; and efficiently resolve customer problems.
+ Word processing skills sufficient to develop and modify a variety of correspondence, records, spreadsheets and reports.
+ Data entry skills sufficient to create database records and update entries or create and apply the basics of spreadsheets and supply/retrieve information in database.
+ Desktop publishing skills sufficient to assist with document creation including meeting materials, publications, presentations, listings, and other items using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
+ Ability to post content created by staff across a variety of social media platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Associate degree
+ Administrative support or relevant experience
+ Proficiency in utilizing office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners
+ Experience conducting research and utilizing tools such as Google, MNCIS, PubMed, Westlaw, etc.
+ Ability to learn quickly the Dental Practice Act and related Board of Dentistry rules, including the rulemaking process in Minnesota
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality
+ Demonstrated attention to details
