Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Azure Solution Architect to join one of our simulation software engineering clients. This role will be pivotal in building and leading a team focused on real-time analytics, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Co-pilot, and Power Platform technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, real-time analytics, and strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and Copilot. They will act as a Microsoft Fabric SME, have strong understanding of what the tool can do and how it can be utilized to take the clients environment to the next level. They will then solution what needs to happen and build use cases to implement it. They will work closely with the delivery teams to carry on the work; however, they will not be executing the implementation themselves. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Design and develop Microsoft Fabric solutions, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical specifications.

Create and maintain architectural documentation, including data flow diagrams, system architecture diagrams, and technical design documents.

Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of Microsoft Fabric solutions.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and demonstrate use cases for how Fabric and Copilot can build POCs and be used for real-time analytics

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of overall IT experience (Solution Architect level in most recent role) with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft Azure

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric

o Realtime Intelligence Hub, Data Factory, Lakehouse

Strong Azure experience including:

o Azure Integration Services for data integration scenarios

o Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and data platform automation

o Azure Bicep for data infrastructure automation

Having at least one of the below certifications completed (Azure Data Engineering Associate preferred) see plusses section for other certifications

Familiarity with event streaming technologies and real-time analytics Experience implementing solutions using Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence, and AI Search

Having at least one of the se certifications completed:

o Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate

o Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

o Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate

o Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert

o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Experience designing event-driven systems for data processing

Experience implementing monitoring for data platforms

Familiarity with real-time analytics and stream processing

Experience with MLOps practices and frameworks null
