Job Description

Insight Global Health is looking for a Network Security Manager for one of our largest Healthcare clients in New York. They will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's network security infrastructure. As a manager the primary goal will be to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's network resources, data, and systems. Those responsibilities include risk assessments, security compliance, incident reporting and documentation, budget and resource management, incident response, etc. This candidate will manage a team of 10+ network security specialists. This includes providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness in handling security incidents, monitoring network traffic, and implementing security controls. They will also collaborate with IT teams, and interface with stakeholders across various departments to identify security risks, develop strategies, and implement solutions to protect the organization from cyber threats.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years experience in a management position overseeing 10+ individuals, preferably within Infrastructure or Network Security, for an enterprise company

Hands on experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto and F5

Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and GDPR.

Strong understanding of network protocols, security architectures, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM).

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or equivalent null
