Job Description

An employer in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Sr. Developer to join their Software Engineering team. This team specializes in systems that manage their customer-facing business functions from movement of products, to customer invoicing. Currently, they are undergoing a cross-functional project aimed to enable the system to handle 2.5x the current load. The Sr. Developer will be instrumental in rethinking business processes and increasing production capacity. They will be responsible for backend development and optimization of the emerging and legacy code. Specifically working in C# .Net and enabling workflow capabilities utilizing Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc. It is important that this individual has a solution-oriented mindset and prior experience working in enterprise-level technical environments to provide creative technical solutions and optimization.

this is a permanent role paying between $115,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

Skills and Requirements

5-10 years experience in Software Development / Engineering roles

Back end development experience in C# .Net Entity Framework

Experience SQL Development

Experience in with distributed systems and architecture that leverage integration with messaging solutions and/or APIs utilizing technologies like Rabbit MQ

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or related field Workflow Orchestration Experience with technologies such as Kafka, or Elasticsearch

Front end development experience in Angular

Experience with Azure DevOps

BizTalk experience null
