Job Description

A large chemical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking an experienced UI Platform

Architect to lead our ambitious front-end transformation initiative. You'll spearhead the

architectural evolution from a legacy Angular monolith and dozens of standalone portals into a

unified, scalable architecture using single-spa, Module Federation, and our design system.

This role sits at the forefront of modern web architecture, designing systems that will enable

teams across the organization to build consistent, high-performance user experiences at

enterprise scale.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience in front-end engineering with 3+ years in architecture or

technical leadership roles

Deep hands-on expertise with either React or Angular frameworks, including

advanced patterns and performance optimization

Proven experience designing or leading architectures in enterprise environments

Strong command of TypeScript, advanced Webpack configuration, and browser based module federation patterns

Experience with component libraries, design systems, and CSS architecture at scale

Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and observability tools (Elastic, Datadog, Splunk,

Sentry, or similar)

Demonstrated ability to design contracts, APIs, and shared interfaces that enable

independent team development

Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and build orchestration for complex front-end

applications

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across

multiple engineering teams Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

Experience building CLI tools, linters, AST-based validators, or other developer

productivity tooling

Familiarity with capability-based compliance models and technical maturity tracking

systems

Prior experience with single-spa, Module Federation, or similar orchestration

technologies

Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and how to

implement them in distributed architectures

Experience with contract testing, schema validation, and API governance in

microservices environments

Knowledge of enterprise authentication patterns, SSO integration, and security

considerations for distributed front-end applications

Contributions to open-source design systems or component libraries

Experience with performance monitoring and optimization for large-scale web

applications

Understanding of enterprise software development lifecycle, including change

management and rollback strategies null
