    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring a Cybersecurity Researcher to join a company in the San Francsio Bay area. This person is being brought on to help shape the future of machine-speed defense systems. As one of their first researchers, they'll work closely with AI/ML teams to embed cutting-edge security insights into agent-based models and customer-facing features that automate analyst workflowsfrom exposure prioritization to real-time stack updates. The Researcher will produce actionable, technically rigorous research including detailed writeups, proofs of concept, and real-world results. The deal candidate would have threat intelligence, vulnerability management, red teaming, or detection engineering, along with familiarity in TVM, XDR, SIEM, or detection pipelines like Sigma and YARA.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5-7 years minimum of hands-on experience in security research, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, red teaming, or detection engineering

     

    Experience with TVM, XDR, SIEM, or detection pipelines (e.g., Sigma, YARA, or custom rules) Experience collaborating with AI teams, or building research systems that scale null
