    Job Description

    An enterprise telecom client is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to assist in infrastructure delivery (bare-metal and virtual compute) and automation. In this role, you will assist with efforts to migrate our existing K8s platform away from a hypervisor-based solution to a bare-metal solution. These engineers will be focused on testing new hardware skus and creating automation and processes to configure and harden systems for critical K8s workloads.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Experience with bare-metal server lifecycle management, including automated provisioning, hardware configuration, diagnostics, and remediation workflows

     

    Proficient in using Redfish for out-of-band management on Dell (iDRAC) and HPE (iLO) hardware, including provisioning, monitoring, and automation workflows

     

    Experience using Ansible to automate bare-metal provisioning and management tasks via the Redfish API

     

    Skilled in PXE boot setup and automation for OS deployment on bare-metal systems using tools such as Canonicals' Metal-as-a-Service (Specific technology preferred but not required)
