Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a secret DevOps Engineer to be located in the Colorado Springs area. As a DevOps Cloud engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform. Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using tools such as Ansible or Terraform. Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using a variety of technologies, including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell. Test and validate automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are free from defects. Must be a detail-oriented individual who can track the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance.

PR: 60-85/hr DOE

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM related degree with 9 + years of software development experience

Sec+ or equivalent

Active secret clearance or higher

Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Red Hat OpenStack, or Nutanix.

Strong Linux experience

Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible

Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

Knowledge of DevOps, i.e. Jenkins and Nexus Experience with AWS

Knowledge of Kubernetes

Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, Puppet)

Willing to document key knowledge and share with team null
