    Clearance: Top-Secret (TS)

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support a high-visibility contract.  This position plays a critical role in the development and deployment of scalable data analytics and enterprise-level database solutions. The ideal candidate will be a technical subject matter expert (SME) capable of leading complex assignments, supervising engineering teams when required, and ensuring performance and security standards across integrated systems.

     

    The ideal candidate will serve as a technical SME, capable of supervising engineers, leading complex assignments, and delivering innovative solutions across diverse data environments.

    Responsibilities:

    + Develop and support data analytics capabilities for desktop and web-based visual analytic tools.

    + Architect and manage enterprise-level database systems and relational data warehouses.

    + Build scalable ETL pipelines for structured and semi-structured data (e.g., JSON, XML).

    + Integrate new systems into existing warehouse infrastructures.

    + Ensure adherence to security and performance standards for all data systems.

    + Leverage advanced computing, graphics, and open source/GOTS/COTS tools to support analytics.

    + Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders in secure federal environments.

    Required Qualifications:

    + 8+ years of relevant data engineering experience (or equivalent certifications and past performance).

    + Active Top Secret clearance is required.

    + U.S. Citizenship is required.

    + Enterprise database design with tools such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake.

    + Data pipeline development and ETL processing of structured/semi-structured data.

    + Dashboard/visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, D3.js, or equivalent.

    + Parallel processing or distributed computing using Apache Spark, Dask, or similar frameworks.

    + Scripting and automation with Python or R.

    + API integration and secure data exchange between systems.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)

    + AWS Certified Data Analytics

    + Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate

    + Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
