Job Description

This role will support the Operator Technology Solutions (OTS) teams with SRE functions, primarily. However, in addition to providing support for observability and monitoring, automation and AWS cloud infrastructure, this role will additionally zoom into our various code bases for guidance for better code patterns.

The existing SRE team is well versed in IaC (Cloudformation and Terraform) and scripting for automation. However, we need someone well versed in Java development to help our development teams build better practices for reliability into their code bases. This might include things like defining better tracing spans in the code, proper error logging, recommendations for modules, performance analysis, etc. Pay rate ranges based off years of experience from $20-40/hour.
