• MDM Engineer (Reltio)

    Job Description

    A growing biopharma company is seeking an MDM Engineer to join their data team in Waltham, MA (hybrid basis). The team includes developers, analysts, and engineers, and this role reports directly to the Senior Director of Data Engineering.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    MDM System Management

     

    Configure and maintain MDM tools (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, Profisee, or Microsoft MDM).

     

    Collaborate with IT data, business partners and business stakeholders to design and maintain MDM data models and integration flows.

     

    Master Data Governance & Quality

     

    Define and enforce MDM policies, standards, and data governance frameworks for key domains (HCPs, HCOs, products, accounts, etc.).

     

    Establish data stewardship practices to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

     

    Collaborate with Commercial teams and business stakeholders.

     

    Work with master data and contribute to MDM strategy and execution.

     

    Assist in selecting and implementing a new MDM platform (Reltio is the likely choice, but not yet confirmed; Informatica is also under consideration).

     

    Support the procurement and configuration of the platform, with a target to finalize by the end of Q3.

     

    Act as a liaison between the vendor and internal teams

     

    Help reduce vendor dependency by configuring and managing the platform internally.

     

    Work closely with engineers, developers, and data governance professionals.

    Compensation:

    $70/hour to $75/hour

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching.     Skills and Requirements

     

    8+ years of professional experience (ideally working within pharma/healthcare industry)

     

    Experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, Profisee, or Microsoft MDS)

     

    Deep understanding of life sciences data sets (HCP, HCO, affiliations, product data, etc.)

     

    Proven experience with MDM platform implementation (on the strategy side and also hands on configuration experience)

     

    Strong SQL skills. Experience with Veeva CRM, MedComms, or Medical Insights

     

    Exposure to Commercial Data Warehousing (IQVIA Xponent, DDD, Plantrak)

     

    Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake) null
