CNO Financial Group’s **Human Resource Department** is hiring a **Director, HR Business Partner** to provide advisory and consultative services to business leaders on people-related issues. In this role, you will shape the nature of delivery of HR services by leveraging a deep understanding of the business environment and organizational strategy.

As a Director, HR Business Partner, you will collaborate across the HR function to deliver the right mix of solutions that best support the needs of the business.

As a Director, HR Business Partner,** **your responsibilities will include:

+ Functioning as the key HR strategic partner working with business leadership teams to develop and execute:

+ Critical business and organizational strategies.

+ Strategic workforce plans.

+ Proactive employee engagement initiatives.

+ Serving as a credible coach and confidante.

+ Providing guidance on organizational development, including organizational analysis and design, strategy, structure and key processes to support organizational/business needs.

+ Advising on talent management, development and succession planning to ensure the right talent capabilities and bench strength are developed to support the business.

+ Leading and advising on change management strategies to drive successful transformation and ensure alignment across the business.

+ Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives

+ Serve as expert in change management processes to positively impact organizational effectiveness.

+ Coaches and advises on appropriate total rewards strategies, programs, and tools to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement

+ Leads/supports human capital Enterprise projects as needed

The Director, HR Business Partner position** **is well-suited for you if you:

+ Possess strong skills/experience in HR business partnering.

+ Are a demonstrated strategic thinker with a track record of delivering proven, measurable results for managing change.

+ Have strong talent management, leadership development, performance management, and organizational development experience.

+ Prior experience in multiple HR functions, to include Employee Relations and Compensation.

+ Are successful in creating an environment of trust with business leaders where integrity is unquestioned; can effectively utilize negotiation and conflict resolution skills when needed.

+ Analyze HR metrics for use in developing goals and driving key business strategies and objectives.

+ Possess excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with all levels of the organization required.

+ Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure business compliance.

What you’ll need:

+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.

+ Requires a minimum of ten years of experience in HR with a minimum of five years of related experience.

What will set you apart:

+ Master’s degree preferred.

+ SPHR/SHRM certificate preferred.

+ Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
