Description

In this role, you will focus on the redevelopment and migration of web applications from ColdFusion to modern technologies. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex projects within the education industry, leveraging your expertise to deliver impactful software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing ColdFusion-based web applications to identify requirements and plan redevelopment.

• Collaborate with application services teams and departments to gather and define technical and functional requirements.

• Design and document specifications for new web applications and websites.

• Develop and build web applications using .NET/C# technologies.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on .NET applications, providing guidance and support to stakeholders.

• Conduct thorough testing and validation of applications to ensure quality and functionality.

• Create system-level documentation to support development and future maintenance.

• Optimize database performance and queries within the .NET framework.

• Ensure smooth migration of data and functionality from ColdFusion to .NET applications.

Requirements • Proven experience with .NET/C# development and application design.

• Strong knowledge of database management and optimization within .NET environments.

• Familiarity with ColdFusion development (preferred but not mandatory).

• Ability to analyze, document, and design web application requirements.

• Experience in testing, validating, and troubleshooting software applications.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
