    CNC Manufacturing Technician/Machinist – 2nd and 3rd Shifts

    We are looking for a **Machinist/Troubleshooter** to join our team on **2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12 Midnight) and 3rd shift (11pm - 7am).** **In this role, you will help set up, program, operate, troubleshoot and maintain CNC production machines like lathes, grinders, and mills.**

    What You’ll Do:

    + **Set up and adjust machines based on blueprints and instructions. Study blueprints, layouts, or charts to visualize work sequences, dimensions, and tooling instructions.**

    + **Set up and operate a range of machines, including CNC machines, lathes, millers, drills, grinders, cutters, borers, and presses.**

    + **Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary corrections promptly and competently.**

    + Align and position templates, controls, cams, or gears to adjust feed rates, angles, cutting speeds, and depths.

    + Inspect finished products to ensure quality.

    + Choose tools and parts needed for production.

    + Restart equipment after power outages or interruptions.

    + Keep the work area clean and follow safety rules.

    + Help train new team members.

    What You Need:

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + **3+ years of Machining experience needed, including your most recent position.**

    + **CNC Expertise: Hands-on experience with CNC machines. Programming experience a huge plus!**

    + Technical Know-How: Capable of performing machine changeovers and adjustments with precision and efficiency on all machines.

    + Lubrication Knowledge: Understanding of coolant and cutting oils.

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.

    + Strong math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances.

    + Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and machine maintenance.

    + Experience with coolant and cutting oils is a plus.

     

    Salary/Benefits: $20 - $24/hour (depending on experience) PLUS a shift differential of $1.50 to $2.50/hr. Health insurance, 401k, PTO, holidays - and much more!

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
