In
this role as MGT Project Manager the selected candidate works with internal
groups and external customers to plan and execute complex field service
outages!
HowYou’ll Make an Impact
+ Safety: Set the example for the team and hold them accountable tosafety standards, ensuring safety always as a top priority; Protect theDeck and live Zero Harm! Mentor and train younger engineers.
+ Quality: Ensure that the team understands and accepts the plan, anddoes not deviate from the plan without proper review; Document keyfindings to prevent them from reoccurring.
+ Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service byunderstanding the customer's expectations and requirements and strive toexceed them. Ensure the team is focused on delivering customersatisfaction at all times while continuing to build the relationship.Communicate with transparency.
+ Schedule: Insulate your team from schedule pressure by setting theteam up for success before the work starts. Ensure that the team hassufficient resources and time to complete their tasks to the requiredstandard. Establish and maintain chain of command on the project sites.
+ Organization: Stay organized by managing the: contract, schedule,vendors, project costs, accurately tracking and documenting delays, extrawork, repair recommendations, and customer exceptions, and submitting adaily status report (DSR) daily. Be responsible for completing eventreadiness & post-outage deliverables.
+ Operational support of all MGT FS and Fleet needs. Implementation ofoutage lessons learned through process improvements. TMS outage planningprocess, assist LTP in planning, maintain outage calendar, customermeeting support as necessary.
WhatYou Bring
+ Must have a High School Diploma or GED that can be verified;Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
+ Minimum of five years of experience as Field Service Engineer,Project Manager or Technical Service Engineer; Candidates with moreexperience may be eligible for a more senior level position
+ Previous site outage management experience in the Power Generationor Oil and Gas Industries is preferred (MGT experience is also preferred)
+ Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings andtechnical documents and use of MS project to create and maintain criticalpath schedules
+ Ability to manage large groups of people ~10 – 100 and multipletasks at the same time
+ This position requires travel up to 70% of year
